System One - Tubular Key Cylinder Lock, with Overlocking Feature
- System One uses a 21-pin tumbler tubular key system.
- No manager access (i.e. no Master Key)
- Used with all 681 Series cylinder locking Storage Master latches.
- Supplied with 3 keys per lock.
With System One, no padlock is necessary to lock out deliquent tenants. An 'OV' (overlock) key is supplied to the manager to overlock any unit on the site.
To overlock the cylinder, turn the key 180 degrees, align with the red dot, and remove the key. The OV key does not open the lock, rather it changes the key code rendering the tenant's key useless.
When the tenant reports what they believe is a problem with their lock, the manager has the opportunity to point out their delinquincy. The lock must be reset to the original position with the OV key before the tenant's key can once again be used
